英訳して発表する機会があるので
それ用にいくつか研究してみました
今回はとりあえず３パターン集めました
＜雨ニモマケズ＞
雨ニモマケズ
I will not give in to the rain
not losing to the rain
Rain, I will not be defeated by you
風ニモマケズ
I will not give in to the wind
not losing give in to the wind
Wind, I will not be defeated by you
雪ニモ夏ノ暑サニモマケヌ
I will have a healthy body that I won't
not losing to the snow or to the heat of the summer
Snow,nor the summer heat I will not be defeated
丈夫ナカラダヲモチ
give in to the snow or to summer's heat
with a strong body
I want to remain strong and healthy
慾ハナク
I will not have desire
unfettered by desire
Free from greed
決シテ瞋ラズ
I will not get angry
never losing temper
and anger
イツモシヅカニワラッテヰル
I will always be smiling quietly
cultivating a quiet joy
Always smailing quietly
一日ニ玄米四合ト
I will eat four cups of brown rice,
every day four bowls of brown rice
In a day, I eat four bowls of brown rice
味噌ト少シノ野菜ヲタベ
miso and a bit of vegetables each day
miso and some vegetables to eat
Miso and some vegetables
アラユルコトヲ
In everything,
in everything
In all matters at all times
ジブンヲカンジョウニ入レズニ
I will not count myself
count yourself last and put others before you
I will never be selfish or put myself first
ヨクミキキシワカリ
I will look, listen and understand well,
watching and listening,and understanding
Look carefully,listen closely and understand fully,
ソシテワスレズ
and I won't forget
and never forgetting
Always keep these things at heart
野原ノ松ノ林ノ蔭ノ
I will live in a small thatched hut
in the shade of the woods of the pines of the fields
A small house with a thatched roof
小サナ萓ブキノ小屋ニヰテ
in a field in the shade of some pine trees
being in a little thatched hut
Hidden in the shadows of pine trees that is where I live
東ニ病気ノコドモアレバ
when there is a sick child in the east,
if there is a sick child to the east,
To the east, I will go
行ッテ看病シテヤリ
I will go and nurse him
going and nursing over them
If a sick child need be nursed
西ニツカレタ母アレバ
when there is a tired mother in the west,
if there is a tired mother to the west,
To the west,I will go
行ッテソノ稲ノ朿ヲ負ヒ
I will go and carry her load of rice
going and shouldering her sheaf of rice
If a tired mother needs help carrying a bundle of rice
南ニ死ニサウナ人アレバ
when there is a peason dying in the south,
if there is someone near death to the south
To the south I will go
行ッテコハガラナクテモイヽトイヒ
I will go and say,"You don't have to be afraid."
going and saying there's no need to be afraid
If a dying man needs comforting,for he need not be scared
北ニケンクヮヤソショウガアレバ
when there are fights or lawsuits in the north,
if there is a quarrel or a suit to the north
To the north I will go
ツマラナイカラヤメロトイヒ
I will say,"Stop it, because it's not important."
telling them to leave off with such waste
If there are fights and grievances to bring to an end for they are petty and worthless
ヒドリノトキハナミダヲナガシ
when there is a drought,I will shed tears
when there's drought,shedding tears of sympathy
In times of drought I will shed tears
サムサノナツハオロオロアルキ
when the summer is cold,I will walk around helplessly
when the summer's cold, walk in concern and empathy
During cold summers I will wander at a loss
ミンナニデクノボートヨバレ
I will be called useless by everyone
called a blockhead by everyone
People call me blockhead
ホメラレモセズ
I will not be praised
without being praised
No one will sing my praises
クニモサレズ
or thought a pain
without being blamed
Nor will I be a borden

that is person

※３つあるうちの上はいわゆる教科書的な訳で
下はどちらかというとより文学的な感じです
ちなみに関係無いですが自分は
宮沢賢治の作品では「銀河鉄道の夜」が
特にお気に入りです！
